   • Monitor system regularly to ensure odours are contained within the system
   • Monitor system to ensure it complies with environmental and workplace requirements
   • Identify environmental impact of systems failure
   • Take corrective action in response to systems failure in accordance with workplace and regulatory requirements

   • Operate and monitor system in accordance with workplace requirements and manufacturer's specifications

Performance Evidence

The candidate must operate, monitor and routinely maintain air filtration systems used at meat processing plants to reduce noxious odour emissions.

The candidate must:

operate and maintain the air filtration system in accordance with workplace requirements and manufacturer's specifications

observe relevant workplace health and safety requirements

use communication skills relevant to work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
